SCHOOLS INFORMATION

INTRODUCTION

Our Association prides itself on presenting training in the highest quality traditional Korean martial arts technique in Australia. This is achieved by maintaining solid links with Korea through our founder, Grand Master Bermas (Jong Hyuk) Kim, 9th Dan Black Belt of the International Hapkido Federation, South Korea. We are affiliated with the Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido Association of Korea.

Grand Master Kim is a very active teacher, regularly traveling to our schools and clubs in Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania to mentor the HIA instructors who do not learn their self defence techniques from books or videos but from a real, traditional Hapkido master.

Our aim is to bring Hapkido to as many people as we can throughout the world and to teach them the art in a way that will enrich their lives and the lives of those around them. This site is intended as a focal point for Hapkido students all around the world. Providing high quality Hapkido resources and putting you in touch with one another.

We welcome applications from instructors who wish to join us in our quest to spread quality traditional Hapkido technique and values around the world.
